These are some images I took while working for a friend.  The event was a charity for children, which is great.  It was a boxing fight and auction. What struck me as interesting was that it was $50,000 dollars a table, that men were buying $75,000 dollar motorcycles on whim, that they were actually allowed to smoke inside the Hilton, and that every table of men had their very own young woman to be at their beck and call.  Drinks, cigars, sitting on your lap, what ever.  This event was thrown several days after the banks began to fail, and whispers of recession had already begun to circulate.

Reforming/Revamping

Posted in Uncategorized on January 25, 2009 by michaelkleinfeld

This blog was started as a place to share mostly my thoughts about photography and my personal ideas as a graduate student.  It stemmed from the concept that since I was asking others to let me into their lives, a stranger if you will, and show the pictures, then I in return should be capable of making myself equally vulnerable online.  This is more difficult than you would imagine, and I don’t think I was very successful at it.

This blog will now be dedicated to my photography and other visual endeavors and more closely tied to a website I will be launching soon.  My rants about everything else will be reserved for a new blog.
